Being in the ad biz, I have to keep an eye on “Pop Culture” Not because I think there’s anything of lasting value in it… That’s why it’s called “Pop” Here today and gone tomorrow, but because it can sometimes have an effect on what you’re trying to do for clients who might be advertising to all those spotty teenagers who lap this stuff up. That’s why I find it amusing to look at all this fuss over Sanjaya Malakar on American Idol. Apparently, he sucks, but through a combination of Howard Stern wnting him voted worst ever, tween girls speed dialing votes, and Simon Cowell kicking the crap out of him, he could end up winning the thing. Which all goes to prove… I have absolutely no idea, other than you can’t overestimate, or predict the American audience!

And, he can't sing!!!

he sings better than most people; but people mostly criticise him because theyre jealous of his good looks and charm. They wish they were Sanjay Malakar.
