Am I the only one who's noticed that every news and magazine program on television these days seems to be devoting more and more of their time to medical matters. Tonight's NBC "World News" kicked off with a lead section on heart disease, later in the program it had a section on caring for the elderly. The fact that five US soldiers had been killed in Iraq that day, wasn't even mentioned. Compounding the agony is the fact that virtually every ad in the program is for drugs and other health care products, all the same ridiculous claims, all replete with dire sounding warnings about possible side effects that go on longer than the message content of the spot. As for "The Today Show," NBC's flagship morning program, it should be re-titled the Dr. Nancy Snyderman show... She's on every single day. I know most Americans are obsessed by their health (And their increasing inability to afford doing anything about it) But please, could we have more "News" with our "News?"
.
My advice to you is to stop watching network news. All that pseudo medical stuff will just stress you out!
