If you ever needed proof that in today’s increasingly connected world, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to maintain your privacy. Yesterday’s post about the disclosure of emails showing Julie Roehm’s and Sean Womack’s romantic involvement and efforts to do a personal deal Draft/FCB while still on Wal-Mart’s payroll, is one case. And today’s disclosure of the identity of the guy responsible for the mash-up Web ad for Barack Obama that’s been kicking around on YouTube for the last week or so, which up to today, has pulled more than one and a half million views, is another. Making it worse is that, even though he claims to have done it on his own time, he works for a digital outfit with ties to Obama. He has now resigned from the company, but the damage has been done, as Hillary can now use this as ammunition against her biggest rival for the nomination, when he claims to reject negative politics. Remember this... Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever be private again!
