What is the secret of "The Secret?" Would you believe, getting rich?

Sponsored Review

I must say, I’ve been somewhat mystified by all the fuss recently about the movie and book “The Secret.” There’s no question multiple appearances by the people responsible for this phenomenon on such immensely popular TV shows as Larry King Live and Oprah Winfrey, along with feature articles in The Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Newsweek and Time Magazine, have helped create this exceptional interest. But, having been asked to review a product from the company responsible, I have to ask myself, what is the underlying reason for “The Secret’s” popularity? To paraphrase Gertrude Stein, “Is there any there, there?” Having spent some time with both the movie and the book, I have to say, I think there is. Because, unlike other “self-help” and improvement programs, this one goes beyond the usual solipsism’s to take a more pro-active focus, which in turn attracts positive aspects from both your environment and those you interact with. It’s all encapsulated in a program called, “The Secret Science of Getting Rich,” which has been created by the people who developed “The Secret.” It’s a seminar featuring such teachers as “Chicken Soup for The Soul” author, Jack Canfield; Positive thinking expert, Bob Proctor and Spiritual leader, Michael Beckwith who take the participant through a step-by-step program with just one aim… “To make you rich!” I know, you may think you’ve heard this kind of thing before, But “The Secret Science of Getting Rich,” actually takes a different tack at this provocative subject. Partially based on the writings of philosopher, Wallace D. Wattles nearly a hundred years ago, “The Secret Science of Getting Rich,” updates the thinking and introduces new aspects to “The Law of Attraction” that has formed the basis of “The Secret’s” phenomenal success. At $1,995 “The Secret Science of Getting Rich,” seminar is not cheap, but if it works as well as many believe it does, that could be the loose change that slips down the side of the seats in your new Ferrari.
