Know More: Ad Campaigns

There’s a new ad campaign in the UK to actively discourage people from driving 4X4’s. Can’t say I blame them. The sight of Humvees and other monsters clogging up the roads of Great Britain makes you wonder how anyone gets anywhere. Even worse are the giant trucks and trailers pulling several tons of Spanish toilet rolls and Rumanian pencil sharpeners now that the European Union always unfettered access to anyone who can afford the gas, which at upwards of $10 a gallon makes you wonder how they can afford to drive the “Chelsea Tractors” as they are known, in the first place.

You might see a few of these over here when gas gets to $10 a gallon. Which it will!

This reeks of a sponsored post. You are linking to what is basically a one page site, which then links (every link down the left) to an advertising 'search' website. Clearly the 4x4 site is nothing more than link bait. Either you have been fooled by this, or more likely paid to post on your blog.

Keep this up and I for one will not be following you any more. At least last time (with TextLinkAds) you said it was sponsored.

No, this is not a sponsored post... The linked site is in the UK. You can't buy the merchandise on it here in the USA... And if you read the text, they are trying to keep 4X4's off the English countryside. Don't think they'd cough up money to advertise in the US.
