Did you ever Google YouTube… Which is kind of funny, because YouTube is now Google! Well, whatever! If you do, what comes up is “Google – Broadcast Yourself.” Which may have been what it used to be about… Namely yourself. But not any longer. Because, now it is obligatory for main stream corporations, pseudo rock stars and even Presidential Wanabees to have all kinds of asinine videos popping up on YouTube promoting themselves, their products, or whatever particular brand of snake oil they’re pedaling at the moment. Just like when the “Wizened of Oz” bout MySpace… They fail to realize that this new social phenomena is predicated on the exclusiveness and difference of what they do. Once it becomes commercialized, it loses just what the heck it was that made it different. Well, that’s my opinion… Which is why I know it’s right!!!
