Advertising, ad campaigns, ad agencies, and the people that make it happen

You may remember my post of a couple of days ago about how “The Donald” was watching as his so-called “Lifestyle” magazine Trump was going down the tubes… Well, it seems like the bad news keeps on coming. Apparently, his low-rated reality show "The Apprentice" has been left off the new prime-time schedule unveiled this week by NBC. So what’s Mr. SuperEgo doing about it? In his usual bombastic style he claims that the network can't fire him -- he quits. He issued a statement on Friday saying he has informed the U.S. television network that he is "moving on from 'The Apprentice' to a major new TV venture," though, once again, true to Trump style, he declined to elaborate exactly what that would be. Damn right he didn’t. I’m sure, in common with most everything he’s done over the last few years, its ninety percent snake oil with large dollops of smoke and mirrors. Who the hell would want to put money into anything he’s associated with anyway?
