The news that Leslie Moonves, Chief Exec of CBS, is blaming sexism for the abysmal ratings of Katie Couric since she took over the Evening News slot on CBS is ridiculous. It's simple, the reason she's getting such poor ratings is because the program now has little to do with news and is merely a mash up of entertainment, medical and all kinds of dumbed down content, because some numb-nut at CBS (probably Mr Moonves) has decided the American public is too stupid to appreciate real news... Even though that's what it says on the mast head. The network news programs are sliding down a greasy slope toward's National Enquirerdom, devoting more time to Paris Hilton's on again, off again, time in the slammer. Which star has left who for another, and when the latest fat pill will be available over the counter to get rid of the giant asses people are developing through watching too much dumbed down TV news. No, Mr Moonves, it isn't sexism.... It's you!
