Why is everyone getting hot under the collar about Google's privacy policies? If they are going to store user information for eighteen months (down from two years) then stop using Google. Last time I counted, there where over 500 search engines out there. OK, I know, overall, Google is one of the best, but if you're going to get paranoid in this day and age about having your personal information out there... It's too late. Everyone from the Government, to your bank, to your doctor, to your credit card company knows everything about you already. Even if you went and lived in a cave and never went near a computer for the rest of your life... Again, it's too late. Even Google CEO, Eric Schmidt said in a speech in Europe today... "The trust of users has to be constantly earned, they can easily migrate to a rival service. I'm extremely sensitive to this issue. If people stop trusting Google, then we have a problem. Everything is gated on this issue. Our rivals are only one click away." So there you have it from a guy who has to be concerned where his next ten billion dollars is coming from. Besides which, why worry about it. Google will own everything, including the right to your body parts in less than ten years!

Google sent me for your kidneys!
