Interesting to read about Nokia naming Wieden & Kennedy as the lead agency for its estimated $300 million mobile phones account. Particularly as Wieden will handle the account through its London office for all global campaigns. Wieden's first executions are expected to air early next year. The timing will probably coincide with the introduction of Apple's iPhone to all the lusting Apple freaks outside the USA desperate to get their hands on the "Jesus Phone!" Traditionally, in the U.S., consumers select a carrier, and then buy a phone for $99 or even for free, a system which devalued the phone. The iPhone, which went on sale last week, retails for $599. Buyers have to get service through AT&T with it's zombie speed network, and it can cost you over $100 a month... But hey, it's an Apple and if you worship at the Church of Steve, it's worth every penny. If I was Weiden, I'd hammer on the fact that Nokia doesn't lock you in to a single service provider... And best of all... When the battery dies, you don't have to shell out $600 for a new phone, just a few bucks for a new battery!
.
Soon destined to be the essential iPhone accessory!

Any idea who's handling the account for the Levi's Phone?
