The news today that US Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, embroiled in a row over the sacking of eight US attorneys, has formally announced his resignation has to be a major shock... Only in respect that like every other member of this administration, he has finally decided to call it a day, rather than brazen it out in company with his fellow deadbeats. Bush, as usual, blames the media for daring to question the ethics of this scumbag. I have no doubt that the Fox News Network will attempt to characterize this whole episode as another Left wing, Democrat, Liberal, Stalinist, Communist plot to undermine the efforts of King George in his endevour to remake America in his image. These guys are the masters of PR spin, but, God willing, It will eventually catch up with them.
