Dan Tudor over on BizCradle did a post earlier today singing the praises of the "Wizened of Oz" and how great it would be to have at least one truly conservative newspaper in the Liberal Sodom & Gomorra stranglehold most conservatives seem to think is polluting the minds of gullible Americans. My earlier post refutes this hypothesis. But, I was driven to comment on Dan's site. Here is my rant... "As I said in my post on AdHurl, the so called American Liberal Media is a myth. If, for example, you believe CNN is a liberal network, you probably also believe we are winning in Iraq. I live in the most Conservative state in the US, where people are convinced anyone to the left of Genghis Kahn is a communist and their "News Authority" is a fat drug addict by the name of Rush. I do however, manage to get the BBC World Service, so am able to update on more news than when Lindsey Lohan will next be out of rehab. You are right, the Wall Street Journal is already conservative. Under the "Wizened of Oz," I fully expect it to go to the right of Genghis Khan." Glad I got that off my chest. I'll just have a drink now while I wait for the Department of Homeland Security storm troopers to arrive and smash down the door. In the interests of full disclosure I am a liberal, communist, cheese eating surrender monkey, who would like to see George III back on the throne... After all, he couldn't be any worse than George II... And, unlike 99% of those neocons who think we should be bombing the crap out of the Middle East, I have worn a uniform, and I have been in combat. Believe me, you wouldn't like it!
.
'Cos she thinks MySpace sucks since Murdoch bought it!!!

Hi George...Dan here...
Actually, my post didn't "sing the praises" of the Murdoch purchase (I really don't care either way) and I never at all said that "it would be great to have one truly conservative newspaper" as you suggest.
People should go and read the original post for themselves.
I realize that this is the first time some from the left has mis-quoted someone on the right, but making it a habit could damage your credibility (ask Dan Rather).
Still, you are my favorite communist cheese eating surrender monkey, as you put it. Thanks for contributing to a lively discussion, and for the opportunity to correct some of this post. - Dan
