News today that the Pentagon is setting up a new operation in Iraq that will pump out information from a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week Iraq Communications Desk issuing data from Baghdad and serving as what could be considered a campaign war room. Sounds more like a propaganda tool to me, particularly if, as is more than likely, all the news will be good. 'Cos there's no way they're going to let anything out that would indicate we're just digging ourselves deeper and deeper into the quagmire. “I would not characterize it as a war room,” Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell said Friday. “It’s far less sinister than that. It’s more like a library.” Oh, a library. No doubt in the Green Zone and with massive sound proofing. After all you wouldn't want the people in the "Library" to be disturbed by the sound of bombs going off outside. Why don't they just have Fox News open up an office there. It would save the American taxpayers a few more billion, and they'd be guaranteed "Fair and Balanced' coverage of all their "victories!"
.
Welcome to the Pentagon "Library!"

Why not George. Fox's stateside operation already shills for the White House.
