I Live in Boise, Idaho, which is a beautiful state with some of the most incredible wilderness in the USA. Boise is a college town with a lot going on. But when it comes to politics, I have to admit a certain amount of amusement, as well as frustration with the slightly to the right of Genghis Khan attitudes rife in this state. The majority of voters here are supporting Senator "Wide Stance" Craig in his efforts to stay in the Senate. And no doubt they will find absolutely nothing wrong with the news tonight (Thursday) that this closeted excuse for a man has just voted to end debate on the "Mathew Shepard Act," which would expand federal hate crimes laws to include violence based on a victim's sexual orientation. The stunning hypocrisy of this person who is supposedly representing my interests will never cease to amaze me. Even worse are the blinkered, die-hard Republicans who will continue to vote for him even if he was a proven mass murderer. Senator Craig... Have you no shame?
