Steve "I am God" Jobs is on his iPhone roadshow through Europe. Yesterday, it was London to announce a Nov. 9 launch date with O2 as the exclusive carrier in the UK. Today, he stopped by Berlin to let all of Germany know it too would get the iPhone on Nov. 9, served by Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile division. I don't have an itinerary, but the next stops may be France and Spain, where Apple is expected to partner with Orange and Telefonica SA (parent of O2) respectively. The one thing that could slow sales in Europe is that the iPhone is not a 3G phone, which will drastically affect it's performance in Europe. But Jobs said, "You can expect a 3G iPhone later next year," referring to the faster data network the phone needs to enable Web browsing. Which would make me wait 'til next year to buy one... Strange!
.
It comes in an attractive red package!
