Am I the only one who thinks it's somewhat strange that as the price of oil approaches $90 a barrel, no one seems to be freaking out? It was only a few months ago people were getting more than a bit worked up about the fact that oil was hovering around the $60 a barrel level. I also remember no more than two years ago when someone suggested that the best way to wipe out the deficit was to increase the price of a gallon of gas by slapping on a 50 cent tax. As usual, everyone freaked out, because the dreaded word "tax" was uttered. Well listen up kiddies, before the end of the year, when oil is well over $100 a barrel and it costs you a weeks pay check to fill that Hummer, don't come crying to me... 'Cos I already told you so!

I can't afford to drive it. But it looks great parked out front!
