Interesting to read the results of the Iowa Caucus. I can't explain what a caucus is, I can't even explain American politics. It seems to me that all politics, anywhere in the world, are crooked, and all politics run on money. But I think you can say that with a vengeance here in the US. It was interesting that last night Huckabee beat Romney for the Republican vote, even though the multi-millionaire outspent him ten to one. In fact, by some reckoning, he paid nearly $5,000 for every vote he received, spending tens of millions of dollars to get just 25,000 votes. The beleaguered inhabitants of the "Corn" state have been bombarded with ads for months now. The local TV, radio and newspapers have made a killing. But as I say in my next book "The Ubiquitous Persuaders," when advertising is everywhere, its effectiveness is diminished. Pretty obvious, but we keep doing it. After all, it's about the money... Right?
.
What... That's all that's left in the campaign fund?
