You have to love it when with all the Oscar hoopla that precedes the event, everyone forgets that they actually award the very important science and technical Oscars about two weeks earlier. Because these are the guys that make all the special effects which make "Lord of the Rings" or Star Wars" the blockbusters they are. Anyway, on Saturday Jessica Alba was the presenter... And as Ron Fedkiw, a Stanford University associate professor and consultant to Industrial Light and Magic on fluid simulation, put it so well..."For a computer geek like me, it's really sexy to hear Jessica talk about stable, semi-Lagrangian fluid flows." When he picked up his award he added..."They said I got 60 seconds so I might just spend the last 15 realizing I'm 10 feet away from the most beautiful woman on the planet. And no restraining order this time." Good for you Ron.
.
C'mon baby, simulate my fluid!!!

What a hottie... Yum Yum.
