OK... Without beating this thing to death, the results are in from TiVo as to what were the most viewed ads on Sunday's Super Bowl. And this is actually a pretty good measurement, as TiVo can see how many times people ran and re-ran particular ads. Interestingly, this data showed that people spent more time watching the ads than watching the game. And, not being a fan of American football, particularly the way the FOX networks presents it with non stop shouting announcers and graphics that burn out your retina... I can't say I'm surprised. Anyway, it seems that the most watched spot was the e-Trade one with the smart arsed baby trading away on the computer, before throwing up. But, the big question is... Which I'll bet a small fortune that no one can actually come up with an answer to... How many people opened up an e-Trade account as a direct result of watching that $5 million spot? And don't give me that brand building bullshit!
Mmmm... That's good!
