Bill Gates says Sayonara!

Apparently, as Bill Gates made his farewells to 800 Microsoft employees last Friday morning, he was overcome by emotion. According to Seattle Post-Intelligencer reporter Todd Bishop, who attended the event and posted audio of the speech, both Gates and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer struggled to hold it together as Ballmer presented Gates with a farewell gift: A scrapbook of photos and memories. "Even the times that were the toughest, in some ways, those are the ones that bond you the most," Gates told the gathering. "You know, when IBM decides to attack you, or when some legal ruling isn't quite right, and you have to have a press conference afterwards." Gates urged employees to realize that the work they do has a long term impact on the world, and said that he takes special pride in seeing blind people using the Internet as a result of the software accessibility improvements Microsoft has made over the years. In the end, though, Gates said the overriding memory he'll take from his many years at Microsoft is the fun he's had coming to work every day. Hey, if I was making a million dollars a minute, I'd look forward to coming to work every day as well!

Bill Gates' "retirement" is just the latest stunt in the life of a career criminal. Gates has succeeded in screwing and exploiting millions of people, but it isn't over yet.

I'll write the last chapter on Bill Gates. I'm currently running for public office and using my campaign to attack Darth Gates - in his home town, no less. See my campaign website.

I've also created the website Billysoft. It's far from finished, but I have tons of information to add as I find time.

Bill Gates, you screwed me and my students, and I'll never forgive you. As they say, revenge is best served cold.

Dear Bill,

I am glad to see you graduate from the corporate world. I was busy at the water well my friend, having a jug ging conversation. I decided that you might need a cup of cool water. After all, those few years I spent on your forums, I feel like I kinda know your network. and while we don't really agree, I know that my son likes your windows systems. That son wonders why I switched and now pay the apple tax, but i think he knows it's my twisted thinking for sure. Is it right brain, left brain. or deep down screwed up in my mind? Anyway, when he's puzzled like that he looks at me with these deep piercing eyes, twists his own face and has that crooked eyebrow thing. In those moments I know he's looking like exactly like a Steve, but he's thinking like a Bill. Gasp, there goes my inside out thinking. I'm sure your confused by it all. Many are.

Well, back to the water. Have some fun at the ocean with your kids now that you won't be going into the office as much. Lots of people think teenagers can be on their own. They really do love being with their parents. You have a young athletic wife, yourself, and three kids. It's enough for a pick up game of street baseball. Believe me. I know. And even if you throw like a girl like I do, it's still fun.

Also I recommend cooking and crafting in your retirement. Pick up a hobby, something you do outside of software or sports. I had to be all newagey, but get into the zen of it all. Totem pole carving, stone carving, something that a computer couldn't do as marvelous as the human hand gliding precision tools over beautiful surfaces. There's poetry in that. As a matter of fact I think Seattle has a Stonarium. Read the exhibit piece:The blood the bread and the bones. Mother passes seed within and there grows bone. Morosco, the artist. You are the bones. BeaUtiFUL.

As I mentioned to fake steve you might want to just enjoy weathering. Whether the weather be hot whether the weather be not. Sunscreen optional. Here comes the sun, Bill, and into your golden years. And if you understand the reference, here's a flower, too, after for keeping the stuff in the closed up archives.

Also— The northwest is wonderful for growing berries.I could do some kind of baking if you wanted. I got the dough in filos. You got the berries. Let's Srudel. I'll even invite the boys I know from the watering hole. This one has such great vision. And taste. I laugh! ( a bit ironic or moRONic ) But he would like my strudel be it mixed berry or apple. So would you.

most of all: n-JOy! Bill you made a dent in the universe. That's all any of us really want like a golf ball With dimples. Cheers! FORE!
