Why is it that the right-wing media idiots, such as Fox News and the semi-illiterate conservative radio loud mouths, are jumping all over Barack Obama because he says it isn't necessary to wear a flag pin to demonstrate your patriotism. I agree with him. This is a country obsessed by the flag, which is used by these charlatans as a substitute for genuine patriotism. Instead of waving the flag, wearing a lapel pin, or sticking a "Support the Troops" ribbon on the back of your "Hummer." Volunteer for the armed services. Or sell the "Hummer" and give the money to a vet who actually did something patriotic instead of taking "The Great Decider's" advice and going out shopping. Besides which, don't you realize, when you buy the flags, pins and ribbons, they're all made in China? So much for patriotism. I'm with Obama on this.
