
So the big media news of the week is that if you're crazy enough to think that buying a TV spot on the Super Bowl is a good idea, it'll cost you $3 million for one thirty second spot in 2009! That's right, $100,000 a second. That's a ten percent increase over this years version. Now, I know it's one of the highest rated broadcasts year in and year out, but I honestly believe there has to be a better way to spend $3 million, or if you're Budweiser something like $20 million. Besides which, there's going to be a small fortune blown on the up coming Olympics in China. There might not be anything left in the kitty!
